Guaranteed password recovery for Microsoft Office documents with 40-bit encryption  

Introducing a new way of recovering Microsoft Office documents with 40-bit encryption. The new algorithm is based on the password collision lookup and consists of two parts: first, 40-bit keys are enumerated, and then a collision is sought based on the found 40-bit key. A password collision is a simple password that may differ from the original one but behaves absolutely the same way. I.e. can be used to open the encrypted document.
