Booting RWP from CD, DVD or USB drive

Entering BIOS settings
Restart your computer. Press the Del key to enter the BIOS menu. Some versions of BIOS use other hotkeys; those could be F2, F10, F11, ESC, etc. The hint is normally displayed at the bottom of the boot screen.

Change boot order
Enter the BIOS boot menu. Edit it to make the CD or USB with the Reset Windows Password first on the list. Can't get into BIOS? Read this page.

Save BIOS settings
Make sure to have saved the changes and then reboot the computer.

If your PC uses UEFI firmware, you can use fast boot selection without altering any settings. This option is also available from UEFI's main menu.

Hit any key
If everything's gone smoothly, you'll see the following text message: Press any key to boot from CD or DVD. You should hit any key within 5 seconds to load Reset Windows Password. Otherwise, your old OS will start.
