I saw all 3 of my past used passwords for this computer, I have forgotten the current one and do not wish to reset or remove it, but rather just find it.If I change it or reset it, will it appear in this password history hash? How do I access it, find out the old password, and then switch it back?
Resetting or changing will not give you your current one. Try out different recovery methods instead. Dictionary recovery, fingerprint attack, etc. Try all ones.
Once you need just to logon into your profile, consider using the following scenario:
- Reset your current password using our "Reset Windows Password" software and save it (the program should prompt you before reset)
- Logon into your unlocked profile and do what you need
- Launch "Reset Windows Password" once again and roll-back your current (saved) password to put it back into the system
Note please that after resetting the password you will _temporary_ lose: all your network passwords, wireless connection passwords, IE passwsords, access to EFS encrypted file and probably other stuff encrypted with DPAPI.
Or just simply send me privately your registry files, I will try to recover your password on my PC. Privacy is guaranteed of course, we can sign a NDA if required.
