Hello, I've wlan file profiles in xml files. The hash is stored under keymaterial tag:
<keyMaterial>01000000D08C9DDF0115D1118C7A00C04...</keyMaterial>
How do I import this hash into program ?
Adding new hash says I can input only digits. Importing file says "no/unknown error" or "No handshakes/hashes were found in this file".
The xml files of WLAN profiles store passwords for wireless connections. The passwords are encoded using DPAPI, this is not a WPA hash or handshake or not even dump file. So you cannot add it through the Edit - Add menu.
Well to import it to the program, just select Import - Local PC. The program will try to find and decrypt all xmls from wlan profile of the currently logged on user. Typically you should get a WPA hash along with its plaintext password.
If the xml files do not belong to the current user, the things are a bit complecated. I can show you the way to decrypt such files however. But you will need some additional information for successful decryption: SAM and SYSTEM registry files, user Master Key file, user logon password.
